Our Story

Started with a pint
and a simple idea.

It started the way plenty of decent ideas do — halfway through the evening, when the crisps ran out and someone said, “Why is it so hard to get salty snacks here that aren’t just another shiny bag?” We’d seen dried fish and coated nuts on trips and in shops abroad — the kind of thing people actually linger over with a drink — and wondered why it wasn’t easier to find something like that at home, done properly.

CheersBox grew from that itch, not from a spreadsheet. One person, a kitchen table phase, then a real food room: sourcing what we’d happily open ourselves, weighing it, sealing it, and putting a name on the label we’d stand behind. If we sell it, it has to pass the “would I serve this to friends?” test — every time.

So yes, we’re here to sell the snacks people actually want with a drink. Not protein bars, not rice cakes — salty, savoury, crunchy stuff that belongs beside a cold pint.

We focus on dried fish and coated nuts — straightforward ingredients, no fluff. Whether it’s a few pints with mates, match night on the sofa, or you just fancy something salty, we’ve got you sorted.

Every box is packed and labelled in Ireland. Allergens are spelled out, the paperwork is real (HACCP, traceability, Brother labels — the lot), and every order matters to us.

We’re a small, growing business. We keep cleaning, delivery, pest, production, returns, and complaint logs because that’s what serious Irish food rooms do.
